Hi to the Adobe's My name is Moshe Kidron I am a graphics designer from Israel. I am a lecturer of graphics design for the web, at the Tiltan Graphics institute, which is the most prestigious graphics institute at the north of the country. I own the site www.kidiart.com, the most professional graphics site in the Hebrew language, specialist in graphics design for the web. The main subjects in www.kidiart.com are Adobe Photoshop & Image Ready. The site includes a big collection of tips and tricks, articles, recommended professional books etc. www.kidiart.com is dedicated to the graphics design community in Israel, especially for those in their first steps in graphics. Well! why am I connecting Adobe?. As a graphics lecturer that hundred's of students past my classroom, I was very unpleased to find that most of them don't have the ability to use legally Adobe Photoshop, sins the price of the software in Israel is more than 1100 US$ (an exaggerated price for a student, it is much more then a month average salary in Israel), therefor most of them are choosing "the unlegal alternative" !!!. A year ago I had a meeting with Adobe's agent in Israel, in order to discus this issue, and his support for www.kidiart.com , no answer has been received until now. It is important for you to know, that the price difference between Israel and USA for other graphics software's is not so big (the price of Flash 5 in the USA is about 320 $ and 450 $ in Israel.). In Israel Adobe Illustrator is not popular at all, not because it is not better than Macromedia FreeHand, but because cost effectiveness in Israel, it is not worthwhile. As a graphics lecturer I want my students to use the best tools (and Adobe is the best), which should be reachable in a fair price for them. I will be happy if Adobe will offer for graphics students and teachers in Israel the same offer as in the USA. I will appreciate if Adobe will support www.kidiart.com by professional books, magazines and other material that will help www.kidiart.com become more professional and useful for Photoshop users in Israel.
